Fall Out Boy es un grupo formado en 2001 en Chicago, Illinois y compuesto por Patrick Stump, Pete Wentz, Joe Trohman y Andrew Hurley. Su sonido puede ser algo comercial pero tiene buenas canciones que se salen un poco de lo común, así que aquí está una de las canciones que más ha sonado y que más me gusta: I Don’t Care de su Album Folie à deux (que significa Locura de dos) lanzado en 2008. Este fue uno de los pocos videos que encontré y por el minuto 2:40 tiene un bonus que le dedico a Leon… aunque quien sabe si le gusté XD.

Blue October es un grupo de Houston formado hace 11 años y cuyo último trabajo: Approaching Normal fue lanzado el mes pasado. Su música se acerca a varios géneros y es interesante la forma en que mezclan diversos instrumentos como el violín y la mandolina en sus composiciones. Ésta hermosa canción, Ugly Side es de 2003, este fue el único video decente que encontré de la canción en vivo, los demás tienen de telón de fondo los libros de Sthepenie Meyer en el lanzamiento de Breaking Dawn XD

30 seconds to mars es una banda formada en 1998 y cuya voz lider es el actor Jared Letto (Requien for a Dream, Panic Room, Alexander, entre otros) quien inicialmente con su hermano formó el grupo. Como siempre, ésta canción es ya de hace algunos años… pero pues la desempolvé un poco XD, igual me sigue gustando más la versión acústica…

Esta tarde estaba de lo más tranquila terminando unas cosas, escuchando música, aprovechando para hacer otras, cuando me entró una llamada de lo más simpática en la que me quedaron muchisimas cosas claras, sobre todo que los mortales pueden llegar a ser muy divertidos pero a veces terminan como siempre, embarrandola, así que de malas, ya tengo suficientes cosas en la cabeza, tengo suficiente con todo como para ganarme un dolor de cabeza porque sí, así que… de nuevo, de malas y aprovechando que estoy en mi afición por Muse, aquí está la canción perfecta para la ocasión ^^

Hace mucho no me veía de nuevo una de mis películas favoritas: Dancer in the dark. No recordaba todo lo que me hizo pensar en su momento y el impacto que produjo en mi durante mucho tiempo… hoy la vi de nuevo y fue en cierta forma como volver un poco al pasado, pero de una manera agradabale a pesar de que el tema de la película es algo duro y difícil (como adoro a Von Trier por eso XD ) y pues bien, me quedó también sonando mucho una de sus canciones: I’ve seen it all, interpretada por Björk quien realizó el papel principal de la pelicula. En la banda sonóra ésta canción es interpretada a duo por Björk y Tom Yorke, tiene una letra hermosa y en el contexto de la película es muy importante porque muestra definitivamente cual es la posición de Selma ante lo que tiene que enfrentar en su vida.
